Things I Want to Mod but Unsure how to Proceed

First, the masthead heights in the recognition manual and hence to the TDC is way off for most ships. I've got heights for the merchants (still working on the warships) that will give more correct distances to the TDC but don't know where to find and change the bad values.

Second, I want to change the default speed for torpedoes to FAST but have no clue where that might be.

Third, I want to fix the Asiatic Fleet career so it doesn't retire your brand new Gato sub after it's first mission.



I have the modding tools but I don't think breaking out .dds files is going to help me here (though I haven't tried yet).

I was hoping someone could give me a solid start so I don't have to take so much time learning by trial and error and mining the forum.

Sadly, all dimensions are in metric and are not converted by the game to imperial measurements and make manual stadimeter useless for those who prefer historical immersion (imperial instead of metric.) :down:

Thanks I will deconstruct his Dimension Fix files and compare my numbers.

Still looking for default Torpedoe speed fix and Career fix.



Additionally I think AI is having problems depth charging in shallow water. The cans roll off but no boom.

For the torpedos you need to d/l the latest build of mini tweak
from the tools section. and learn how to utilize it to extend
the torpedo range and speed as you please by tweaking
the torpedo sim rul and torpedo zon rul
