My SH4 ships (Conte Verde and some other merchants) appear to have no bow wave!!!!

Any idea what I have to check concerning the bow wave???:down: :down:

I quess there must be something in the .eqp file....:down: :down:

it requires a "little" hex editing.

@privateer:
let´s put together and open a garage. Everybody can drop in, have a cup of tea while we fix the wakes. I´ve got a spare set of wrenches down in my basement. ;)

From http://hosted.filefront.com/kys2000/ (http://hosted.filefront.com/kys2000/) but I used only the europen like merchants, by selecting the roster and the sea file of every ship. Thats why I think I should also add something from another foldr e.g. the Library but I don't know what exactly!

Ahh, Yes. Kys2000.
DivingDuck and I both have been helping correct the wakes and such on those
as we get time.
Perhaps DivingDuck and I should make a list of which ships we are correcting
so we're not doing the same ships.

As a matter of fact I refer to the KMCSZinbu and the Conte Verde. I have moded the .eqp by comparing it with the NLOL liner (removed sailors, adding REF_small and adding 20mm guns instead of 25mm) in order to make it compatiple with SH3 engine as by enabling the entire mode I recieved a huge CTD!This are also my capabilities in modding :oops:

Till now I´ve done the Yamato only.

I´ll have a look at the KMCSZinbu.
Geosub, have you done any changes to the *.dat, *.zon , *.sim or *.val files?

No I didn't change them not even their names as the roster's .cfg links work fine with the names of those files.

KMCS_Zinbu is ready. It´s showing bow wave and damage textures now. Just pm your mail address and I´ll send the files to you.

@privateer:
Seems as if we use different approaches for this prob. I just copy, adjust id´s and paste the SHIP WAKE and VISUAL DAMAGE data blocks from a similar ship. Thus I have to rework not more than 2-4 id´s. But I´d like to check out your tweak file(s) anyway.
