Hi all. Well, sorry for my english, It's too bad.
Somebody knows that values it is necessary to modify to raise the volume of some sounds? for example the sound of the electrical motors, diesel engines, portholes of the tubes, etc.
The file to modify is "Sh.sdl" in the Data\Sound folder. But that values control the volume?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

I think you need a Hex editor to look into that stuff, ultimately you have to write a "Tweak" file that can be used with the "Mini Tweaker"

Just had a look using a Hex editor.

Looks like you are right...but then how to write that tweak file is another matter. Something I am looking in to myself :p

The dirty way of doing this would be to load the file you think is to loud or whatever and run it with "ACE-HIGH MP3 WAV WMA OGG Converter 3.20" for e.g.
There you could simply set the volume to what you want and then save. Like I said the DIRTY WAY...maybe not to recommend:hmm:

Errrrrr.....Ufffffff.... I do not understand everything very well what you have said to me.
But with a hexadecimal editor I have discovered that the value that controls the volume is that: "Volume....B"
The point before the B is the value that controls the volume of the sound.
if we give a low value him, for example AA, then is listened to with a low volume. If we give a high value him, for example EE, then… is a roar.
Now I have the diesel engines roaring by all the house. This is hallucinating. My neighbors think that I am crazy (and they are right) :rotfl:

I continue investigating.

I hope you backed the original file up, before doing this :o ;)
