Is it OK to have both these mods installed, and if so should they be installed in any particular order?

I notice that JSGME throws up a warning that several files to be amended are already amended by other mods. Is this a problem?

Cheers,

WB.

Obviously it is! Some mods only tweak one file. If that file gets overwritten by another mod, you will only get the last one you installed. Other mods use various files, and if some are overwritten, the whole mod might not work as intended.

My suggestion is to stay away from overwriting mods. However, if you learn a bit about what has been modified (And both RFB and FTT have extensive readmes about that) you might be able to combine some parts of them together.

Once down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

Combinng bits and peices of stuff that you like from various mods, is umm well, how one gets into modding. Before you know it, you'll be modding the game more then your playing it.

Anyway, uhh ..yeah, you can't combine "out of box" RFB and FTT, their different. You'll have to pull the bits you like and make your own mod pack out of them basically.

Last Save Always wins folks!

* Many Mods give you a choice of JSGME or manual with a detail of files/lines to copy. Always backup your files before manually modding them.

The most notorious one's to keep an eye out for are:

1) menu_1024_768.ini

2) Main.cfg

3) GameplaySettings.cfg

4) Commands.cfg

5) Contacts.cfg

There are many others...
