After playing around with Dials.cfg settings it seems as if the problem is caused by going to the periscope/TBT for the first time in game. In Dials.cfg it's set to be on contact but the first time you go to periscope it changes to magnetic,that's what the click is when you go to periscope.

i might agree with that!

i just got through watching the sonar only attack video and he was able to set two torps on high speed and after firing the first one, the second one was still set to what he had set it to :rotfl: wow, what a messed up sentence i made:doh: he did not set to contact though.

when i set speed for a salvo of torps, they always revert back to slow after firing the first one..And of course, always revert back to mag also..

periscope/tbt could be the problem..
