Here's a quick Excel template to use when you are getting to know your Boat(s):

Directions:
Take a quick cruise with your boat and record the following on the sheet:
[ ] Note Sea types too (after all ships' performance specs in the ID manuals are recorded in a bath-tub, not in 20knt winds and 15 foot swells.)
[ ] Scope Depth and time to reach it
[ ] Snorkel Depth
[ ] Crash dive depth and time to reach it
[ ] Max safe depth
[ ] Crush Depth
[ ] TorpMaxLaunchDepth
[ ] Max speed sfc and Sub
[ ] Max range + best cruise speed sfc and sub
[ ] Torp speeds and types.
[ ] Load outs Fore/Aft.
Now you will have an easy to glance at listing when it matters.
* Feel free to modify any way you like. Very handy when you modify/tweak your boat.
