OK, I'm having a blonde moment. Patch 1.2 works great and I waited until I'd installed that patch before installing any mods in SH4. I activated the Green Lamp mod and the clearer compass mod using JSGME. It says they're activated but neither show up in the game? What am I missing....apart from a brain right now?

Nope. That didn't do it.

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific is the correct address for JSGME isn't it? First time I've used this piece of software.

I've discovered that some of my mods are working; the sound mods and the 'brighter torpedo wake' mod work fine, but the green lamp mod and the clearer compass mods don't work for me.

installed patch 1.2 The green lamp mod and ParaB's fewer radio contact mod work for me. I use JSGE too.

No biggie. The Ultimate sound mod is awesome, as is the reduced radio traffic mod. So far, 1.2 modded, well partially modded anyway, is working out well. :D

I'm waiting for the modders to check their mods for 1.2 and OK or
fix them as needed before I install them....

Well, I just installed Patch 1.2, and enabled jimimadrid's Shiny Border mod, which includes the Green Lamp mod, and it seems to work fine.

So, at the risk of sounding 'Captain Obvious'....have you double-checked to make sure the folder structure of the mod is correct?

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\MODS\Greenlamp\Data\....

Its not uncommon to have an extra folder (eg: MODS\Greenlamp\Greenlamp\data) in the path, which would make it not work (and JSGME doesnt report an error).

I'll check it out tonight, Zantham. It could be something as stupid as that seeing as other mods are working fine.

The green Lamp Mod should work correct, because it only change graphics and no data.
There was only one file of this mod replaced in the 1.2, but i could not see any difference between the old and the new file.

Shiny Border mod/Green Lamp mod works fine for me after 1.2 install.

In general, I would say that any mod that does not modify a CFG file should be fine. Mods that do probably won't.
