More Planes

Hey im a WW2 History buff and i love SH3 but SH3 is lacking something, it needs more planes. I downloaded Serg's Air Attack Part 1 mod which included some more british and ally planes but i think there should be more. I remeber reading somewhere, and the questioned was asked about the Russian planes and how they flew Hurricanes?? They had a lot more then Hurricanes, plus i dont think they really used them. Im also requesting more German Planes. And remember not all planes flown during the war were used as fighters or bombers, some were used as recon or to transport people and cargo. Just putting it out there, haha.

So if someone could enlighten me on any research or moding taking place on planes would be nice,.

You can add as many aircraft as you like to your install
If you dont add them to airbases you wont see them though:nope:

I've mostly played Dead Is Dead, so I have very little late war expirence. But from what I've read here more planes 1943-45 is not what a lot of players hope for.

Well i like to create missions where there r "hundreds" of planes comming toward me. I usually put a few German Capital Ships around me, i just sit back, Dive down and Watch using the External Cameras, its really awesome. But mostly i create missions were its just my sub and about 5-10 planes coming at me at different time frames, its really good AA practice.

Real life: planes usually attacked in groups of one...and one was more than enough.

"AA practice" is about as unreal as a sim can get.

Its cool to watch the Bismark or the Nelson take on planes. It would be suicide for a uboat to take on more then 2 planes, but i usually put a capital ship against 20-30 planes of different classes. Now it would be soo cool if some of the planes could drop torpedos. I did an experiment the other day, it was my sub a VIIB allong with several large German Capital ships, and i had 30 planes heading toward our group. I would have thought the planes would attack the biggest threat ( i was thinking the Bismark) but instead they came after me, its funny i had them all as Veterans but they all dropped their bombs at me but they didnt even hit me or damage me.

I've never done that. Play a single mission and sit back and watch some big ships duke it out.
