The Silent Service mod changes all the into and in-game menus with new pics, plus a new movie at the beginning, not sure about the author, nice mod:up:, he may be able to help you. PlusTikigod did a mod like this for SH3, but have not seen him around much lately.

Hi man and welcome...
OK if you are working on the splash, this is where that stuff is in the game
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Menu\Loading
For the actual splash its in two locations one for EMEA and one for US
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Menu\Loading\MainLogo\EMEA
and
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Menu\Loading\MainLogo\US
If you really want to get in to it you could download my mod and check out the file structure in it then I think you will basically figure where what stuff belongs and for what etc.

You might also want to look at this tut for loading and saving .DDS format (most stuff in SH4 is in this format)

Link to NVIDIA's DDS Plugin

Hope that will help you.
