Is it possible to mod an accurate ruler for the nav map? That would help a lot in calculating speed by the time and distance method.
On a related not, is there documentation somewhere as to how to create a custom mission? I would like a TDC custom mission, a line of merchants travelling at various speeds with unlimited torpedos,so we can practice manual TDC firings.
I have been experimenting with manual TDC and having lots of strange results. The position keeper will indicate a torpedo gyro way out of line with reality. Even when the target is locked I sometimes get a relative bearing which is no way related to the target. Is there a way to "set" the bearing to target?
Is there a way to manually set the range without going through the split image/ mast height procedure?
One more question: If we have a proper setup, should the torpedo track arrows on the upper and lower dials match up, That is, should the arrow on the upper dial be at the six o'clock position and the arrow on the lower dial be at the 12 o'clock position?
Thanks! Joe S
