If I wanted the compass to expand even larger than it does right now (ie when you mouse over it) would that even be possible?
Right now, even with OAK's awesome HUD Gauges, it is still difficult picking out an accurate course. By making it "expand" to a larger size will help me in selecting the course I want.
Any menu modding veteran's with advice?
Cheers.

Its 100 % possible. You have to start looking in the "menu_1024_768" of course. I looked at it the other day but left it cause I was doing something else. You should look at this for starters

and then this

I hope zAmboni has time to write that "Zone-Crop" tutorial this weekend cause that's what this is all about.
Basically you are looking for anything related to "Dials_us_imperial" and "Dials_us_metric" in the "menu_1024_768". I hope this swill get you started...

Just to add something here...what I found was that there is a lot of stuff that needs to be thought out...for e.g. what is the code line for "small" and "big" in each section, plus the needles etc etc...its a bit tricky at first to find what is what as there is quite a few different "blocks of code" in this one...a methodical approach is what I would recommend...but sure it takes some time to sift through ;)
I am currently trying a "clock" basically the "Hamilton22" that some ppl already have done, but I am trying to make it taller then the stock clock and that has some implications on the code as the clock and also these gauges are built up in many parts. In case of the "clock" you have each hand/needle and you have centers for each of them + 3 different fascias "Big, Small, Outer Ring...etc etc. So it does take some "trial and error" to really get it right...
