OK can someone that have played the SH franchise over a longer time explain me this...
Why is it that the songs in my "CBS NEWS MOD" remains even though I deleted them and moved them over to the "Gramophone" to run with "jimimadrids" "songrandomizer" WHY DO I STILL HEAR THEM IN THE RADIO???
I deleted the song 110% restarted the game, heck even rebooted...is it because I am in the middle of a patrol??? do I need to go back to port and refit or what???

I am totally BAFFLED!...how can the game keep this stuff in memory...IT'S DELETED!!! amazing or?

Maybe it does keep it in memory. If you quit SH then restart it, it reloads at lightning speed. Someone that knows more about PC's could tell me why?:D

There is a radio and a gramophone folder. Check in which of both you have deleted the file.

OK I unloaded the "CBS" mod and its all gone including the frequency...so far so good...what I am going to do is to rename the mod and load again...this is just way weird

I renamed the mod....THERE IS NO!!!! and I repeat NO!!! songs what so ever in that mod folder and still it plays the songs....:o

Magic or .....VISTA maybe...I don't have a clue!

I even emptied the gramophone folder and ONLY loaded my "CSB" mod with NO SONGS! there are no other mods loaded....HEEEEEELP!!!!!

This is the true meaning of ghost in the machine.

I actually had something like this before doing skins...By mistake I painted some "orig" skins, noticing that I quickly deleted the "painted" skin with the original (saved it thank God) but it would just simply pop back...even though I REPLACED IT with the new one...it just came back! I reinstalled the game like 3 times! and in the end I REINSTALLED frigging VISTA and then it was gone...I wonder if Bill's boys are at it again...

OK I think I fixed it. I had to rename the sub folder and the station name in the "Radio.ini" at least there is no music when I load in...I did not wait for any news to come on, but at least no music (was before) I can't explain this but there it is...
