Not really a mod question, but since people in here actually look at these files, I found this:

[DEVELOPING]
DevDebugEnable=Yes
DevEditEnable=Yes
MiniDump=Yes

as a setting. Usually debug modes slow the crap out of programs. Should we mayber set these to "No"?

There was another post on the forum somewhere mentioning this and advising to set them all to "NO". Which is what I did, hasn't caused any adverse effects, but I haven't payed much attention to FPS yet, been too busy actually trying to play the game and figure out some of these files.

Where is this "setting" ?, can't seem to find it in any documents
Found it "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Cfg "Main"

You'll most probably find that that is a 'left-over' from the Devs when using a Debug version. What we should have is the Release version, which should be faster and have the debug code removed or disabled for compilation. I wouldn't worry too much about it :)

I read the original thread regarding this some time ago, changed the setting to NO and it seemed to have no effect what so ever.

I wondered since a lot of those files in that directory seem to be related to SH3, not SH4.
