Do the names matter? Meaning if there is a call in a mission for a Kongo, or Generic BB, and the name is struck, will it still make a Kongo?

Didnt the Kirishima get sunk before the end of the war?

Only the Haruna made it to the end of the war - well sorta - she was sunk in the shallows of Kure harbor by Navy a/c.

Both the Kirishima and the Hiei were lost during the battles around Gaudalcanal in 1942.

I'm not sure this file is used at all.
Look in the log, you always get the internal names of the ships instead of individual ships. I suppose some link or text string to these roster files is broken somewhere.

theres a line for frequency...if is a 1 then the ships appear with that...if it is 4 then 4 ships will be present with name files...atleast I think so...not sure...
if this is not the case then why name all the ships>>>like the merchants...DD's and so on...
