Hi,

Just an idea I was playing around with in my head, after reading some old SH3 manual navigation threads, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to add a new menu option to "Get Current Position" with the lat and long like the "Status Report" Does. however I just want to grab the lat/long and have it show in the crew log (the one at the top where all the crew feedback goes.)

This way I can make my sub icon invisible on the map, and get my navigator to give me our position (from my socalled new button). I think this would be a simple manual navigation solution, as the position report is only accurate to the minute anyway which leaves me a comfortable margin of error. I dont want to have to send a status report every time I want my current position, as I am not sure yet if enemy vessels can detect, and, then I have to sift through my ever growing message history to find it.



Yes, I like to manually navigate!
