View Full Version : [REQ] have the ability to take recon photos

I think It might be good to have the option of always having the ability to take photos in all missions. It would help with identifing the targets by comparing the photos and the recongnition manual while the sub is at a safe depth. It still would be a challange to get in position to get the photos then you can plan your attack from a safer distance.

In the recon mission you can view the photos taken.
I don't know if that is realistic or not.
They shouldnt have a problem setting up a dark room ;)

Either way, it is already in the game, so as long as it is an option, why not?

Don't know about darkrooms but some of them had icecream makers! ;)

Where's that icecream maker mod guys??:D

Why use a darkroom. Many years ago I simply used a bag for that. Just a bag and a table, thats all one needs

And a darkroom would not be a problem either, not much day light in a sub you know :D

But certainly they wouldn't have developed the pic on the spot... periscope photos to get id and range are still years away.

If the photos were available I would use them to ID the targets while safely deeper than periscope depth. It takes me awhile to ID targets, and the less I have the scope up the better.
