I was looking around on the internet tonight, and on Wikipedia it says the rank of Seaman Recruit used to be known as Seaman Third Class. When did this change take place? I found this quote on a web page which states:
The second division, led by Captain Daniel J. Hennessy, also fared badly. Hennessey and four of the Buffaloes were downed, after ferociously fighting off three Vees of eight Zeros each. Of the second division, only Captain Phillip R. White and Captain Herbert T. Merrill survived. Merrill was quite a bit more fortunate than Parks, for he was aided off the reef by Seaman Third Class E.J. Steward, who dove off his PT boat in order to help.
Furthermore, I find that Seaman Apprentice used to be Seaman Second Class, and Seaman used to be Seaman First Class. In each case I have found references to these, and not the stock, names in various WWII references. Should a change thus be made to the menu.txt file?
