Greetings to all on the mods forum. I have some minor requests that I'm sure the community would appreciate-
1. Remove pop up ballons with descriptions from the Control Bar at the bottom of the screen. Don't have a problem with the title for the key, but the lengthy paragraph which follows is unnecessary (to wit),
Click on Sonar Station- you get a balloon window that says "Click to see the Commands, click again to actuate button". Not necessary.
Clicking on "Follow Nearest Contact" gives us a window with a two sentence paragraph on what the sound man will do (no kidding). Keep the button title, remove the descriptions.
2. This one may take the DevTeam's involvement-
Make the Sonar station and the radar station static screens (as in SH1 and 2) with the view directly over the instrument. We need a key to slowly turn the hydrophones...
3. Remove sea life. Damn, I hate seaweed and plankton, lags my system. Used Redwine's "Increased Underwater Visibility" mod and had a few more fps.
4. Bring back the SH3 manner of viewing Fuel/Battery/Air/CO2!
Yours, Mike
