I know Jscones wants a rest but really hope one of you skilled programmers can start to whip this up.

Seperate program if needed :lol: :lol:

I have big big plans for such a program.

You can randomise everything if the file structure is created.

Last time I had a play with sensors and damage and some special effects but that was the warm up as I knew this was coming.

I'm still not quite clear what you want randomized. Campaign missions? Sensor data? Random bits of code inserted into the main.cfg file so you never really know which key to press for the nav map? :D

One thing I should note - from the appearance of the .cfg files, tonnages can be randomised by different amounts which can be specified in the file.:o I'm not sure if the variable is for the percentage by which the tonnage varies, or the actual amount though.

Assuming I am correct, it is another SHIV feature with which I am very surprised and pleased.:sunny::rock::up: I've always missed this feature since AOD, and am glad to see it back.

Personally, I would start with the sensors of enemy as well as some other things to make them interesting.

I love the mods that made DD harder, just that I also wanted them to be easy at times also. I am not into the permanent hard DD, especially in the Pacific. This was a touch an go era. They was no such decline of American Subs in the Pacific, thats why I say by having a uber DD in this war does not make sence.

Having the occasional Uber DD makes much more sence to me.

I am sure there will be crew skins etc etc etc, with the features of sh3 commander, there would be chances to have them change uniform daily dependant on how many skin packs come out.

Take the picture on the desk, why have one photo when you can have a daily one.

You can also remap at random the buggy "A" key command which currently causes instant crash to desktop. Would make playing SH4 an interesting variant of the "Russian Roulette":rotfl:
