New Concept Start Menu V0.1

The images in the window are not the real look, as there it will run
the Harbors day and night version Videos!!!


Other Notes


New concept gives you the Inside Office harbor view
in 2 versions , one day harbor and one night harbor ,
it add the live motion video in the office window
of the harbor outside, with changed music to office
and real harbor sounds...

Atention on compatible versions

This mod is absolutly compatible with any SHIII version
or Mod...



Install

This mod comes JSGME Compatible, so just drag the subfolder
version ( Day or Night) to the SHIII directory on your C:/Programs
into the Mods folder and enable it using the generic mod enabler...

Apreaciation

Dowly have made a superb job on the sound and video editing
giving the video and sound tracks just the magic touch we needed
for this Mod, thanks mate for the hours spend on this project...
My part wasn't easy also, the graphic creation took me about 2 full,
and I mean full days of hard work to get the look you can check for
yoursellfs...

New sound for Day & Night versions ( Optional)

This pack was provided by Dowly, and gives both menus the extra
sounds of battle in the distance given the idea that the war was
at Germanys Doors and reaching the end...

SH3 Commander randomisation


This mod comes in 2 versions one that will
make the startmenu Change more often
and one light version that will change less
times, Both of them will only change from
The day to Night version when you restart
the game via SH3 Commander....

Install

Go to SHIII Comander directory , Your hard drive C: Program files/SHIII Comander.
and back up the inside existing Date folder, drag and drop or copy and past the
All content inside the SHIII comander Rand folder to the SHIII Comander directory
and overwrite the files when asked!

IMPORTANT

You must backup the Date folder in SHIII Comander Before overwriting anything!

Under Developement

A new concept by Dowly and JCWolf is on the Horizont!!!
I'm not sure what to make of this description but all I can think off is that this is a new mod called 'Silent Diver' or something. Learn how to wait, hold your breath ... Yup, that must be it. And coming from those two lads I too can't wait to see it. :smug:

Hey guys, I just had an idea.... But I don't know if it would work. Considering that SH3Cmdr can manage a lot of things, do you think that it would be possible to make the night and day versions in accordance with the time it is when you start playing ? :D

We are including a version for Randomising SHIII Commander use, but as for that I do not think it's possible...:hmm:

Any way I'll have a word with JSCones later to know exactely if that would be
possible cause It was one of the ideas we add from the begining...:up:

I did some mixing and hereīs a Battle Sound edition of the background menu sounds that come with the mod.

It adds distant explosions and sounds of gunfight to the BG 'music'. Should give a nice touch when enabled in the later years of the war. ;)

This only contains the sound files and the folders are named differently from the original mod, so that you can enable/disable it separately.

@JCWolf, feel free to make SH3Cmdr conversion out of this. :up:

That wil be close to the end of the war, or starting in 44 dates I can add one or 2 times that sound pack, and the at 45 dates a bit more...:up:
