First Of all I would like to thank this community for the tremendous amount of time people have put in with regards to mod's. They truly have made a great game better which is a hard feat in itself.

The question I have is with regards to automated scripts in mods (ie AI movement of a convoy set to be at a certain location on a certain date). I read some conflicting information that if I were to save my mission half way thru (and the scripted AI movements were not yet completed) and then were to reload the game that the script (if my sub was located within a certain range of the convoy in this example) would no longer finish as it was written. Could someone confirm if this is the case and what work around one has if any.

thanks again

I found this in the FAQ under the Community Manual...

"18:When reloading a saved game near areas where there are vessels on scripted waypoints (e.g. near ports with harbour traffic), the waypoints are NOT reloaded by the game, so the affected ships will forget their orders and do stupid things such as plowing into the land, etc. Workaround: Don't save/reload near these areas, wait till you get out of range."

Anyone know how many NM's I need to be out of range in order to save/reload reliably?
