Editing sound files. help

Hello ya'll, I just need a little bit of help here. I wanted to edit the sound files ( .wav) and the .ogg files. What program do I need to extract music and sound from the Das Boot dvd I have? also I need a program to edit the .ogg files.

Any help would be great...

I have used GoldWave to edit several ogg files. It is not a free prgram.

to "capture" the sound on your dvd you can use lots of programs. i use the creative software that came with my soundcard. if you have an x-fi soundcard from them go to audio creation mode and set up a what you hear record. if you dont have a look around your soundcards utilities. otherwise search google for a sound capturer
