hi can anyone tell me what programs can export in .TGA file type?
i am using adobe fireworks and this does not allow tga export. if you know of any free converters that are not 30 day trials (which i am using for now) that would be really helpfull.
cheers

I use PSP (PaintShopPro) 7.0, not the newest version but it does lots of jazz.
Are you just looking to make a coning tower emblem or something more involved?

Deep Paint 2.0 is freeware and a very nice program.

Adobe Photoshop 7 exports to Targa files. But, it is not freeware. Adobe Fireworks is a Macromedia Product that was bought by Adobe. So, its probably why it doesn't allow TGA conversion like the true Adobe products have.
You might want to try Tucows.com for freeware and type in TGA Converter, Targa Converter, TGA, or Targa, or Image Converter into search to see what comes up.
My first search result was this:
http://tucows.com/preview/228797
There seems to be alot of image convertors that export to TGA.
