Wonder if it would be possible to create a MOD to be able to Command a German Destroyer or Schnellboot or even some other ship.

If you can be in a U-BOAT Conning tower then maybe a mod can create a Bridge of a ship.

AI can still control the guns. I remember when SH3 first came out it was hinted that we would be able to command a Schnellboot eventually.

I have a Cold maybe its gone to my head.:damn:

I take it you have checked this out:roll: Heard a rumor that if SH4 goes well, a new Destroyer Command may be a possibility.

Surely some talented Modder could find a way to get us commanding a German Destroyer or Cruiser or Schnellboot. Wouldnt that be fantastic.

Destroyer Command.... :up: Fantastic....Hope they do make it and have it in the Atlantic not Pacific.

As far as game experience goes Uber does have what your looking for.
its just not a destroyer is all. its a Submersible Heavily armed and armoured
torpedo boat with strategic range.

I'd also like to see this happen...I remember back in the SHII days there were abundant mods where by switching some filenames you could drive around the Bismarck and other vessels.

By no means am I advocating a "swap and go," although it may be the best quick fix, but I think doing a Schnellboot attack or slugging it out with the RN Destroyers at Narvik in a Z-34 would be a welcome addition to the game.

Unfortunately, GWX is calling it quits after 1.04 and heaping this on them is obviously unfair, so I guess it would be up to others to pick up the slack and add more playable ships to the game.
