This is "My favourite mod" for GWX v.1.02. I released this mod because I really like it. This mod I just merged the mod by Ducimus from NYGM TW v.2.2 named "TW_periscope_TDC_for_GWX" and FLBSale "Simfeeling 6dials mod"
Here is some of pictures of this mod

And here is a link http://files.filefront.com/My_favourite_dials_mod7z/;6855278;;/fileinfo.html

I was tried this mod and working fine to me, also I must to said if someone want this mod with SP2 HighRes mod enabled, must to do the following procedure:
Find the block in menu_1024_768.ini file
[G3F I34]
Name=Group feedback
Type=1026;Menu group
ItemID=0x3F010000
ParentID=0x3F000000
;Pos=290,131,330,130
Color=0xFFFFFFFF
VertSlide=-141

and change the Pos line and VertSlide line into this:

;Pos=290,-200,330,130
Color=0xFFFFFFFF
VertSlide=-500

Hope You like this mod!

I had the Sliding Stations Mod installed previously. I then installed the My Favorite Dials Mod and everything seems to work fine.

Is this the correct order of install? Or do you feel this mod is not compatible with the Sliding Stations Mod and it is not needed?

I did like the map not moving when curser went over the edge of the map in the Sliding Stations Mod. Now the map moves after install of My Favorite Dials mod. Otherwise, it seems great with both mods installed.

I don't have a "Sliding station mod" and don't know how it's look. But if everything work like should, then it's o.k.

This is probably the last thing I did like additions for GWX v.1.02. First I did Assisted plotting mod, then this and now my GWX is just I like to have. And now what? The answer is: The now is time to start playing and discover this great mod! :sunny: Thanks to everyone!

I'd be curious to know what the compartment problem is. I have it up and running fine in GWX102 and not noticing anything.

@poor sailor. Is it possible to edit menu_1024_768.ini (I presume it would be that file?) to get the text messages to stay on-screen?

Big thanks to everyone who likes this mod and for me this is my last job. I'm not planned to include integrated orders in this mod, if someone want, feel free to add that as I feel free to make this mod from other modders:FLBSale, Ducimus, Tikigod...thanks to them. Now I must to play GWX with this additions.;)

As you stated above, the mod Intergrated Orders is a optional mod that is installed with the GWX Package. It basically uses (or reworks) parts of the menu_1024_768.ini file.

The structure is as follows:

data

->cfg
-->commands_de.cfg
-->commands_en.cfg
-->commands_fr.cfg

->Menu
-->GUI
--->Layout
---->MainOrders.tga
---->Orders1.tga
---->Orders2.tga
---->Orders3.tga
---->Shortcuts.tga
-->menu_1024_768.ini

Is it possible to edit menu_1024_768.ini (I presume it would be that file?) to get the text messages to stay on-screen?

Answering my own, just edit data/menu/Menu_1024_768.ini . In the [G3F I33] block, rem out the VertSlide line by adding a semicolon to make it read without quotes ";VertSlide=-130". That makes the officer icons and text messages stay on-screen all the time. Poor Sailor actually mentions this as an individual setting in the read-me, but I'd overlooked it.

Then, to keep the time and TC console on-screen, do the same in the [G3F I###] block which has the first line that reads Name=Group feedback; FLB Sale's 6 Anzeigen, Konsole & Uhrfeld (I'm mentioning the first full line, since recall that you'll probably have renumbered the block from the read-me instructions ... the block is [G3F I348] in the read-me. So just rem the VertSlide line to make it read without quotes ";VertSlide=-144".

I've done this and it works fine.

Hi Guys,

@Poor Sailor - I have this mod installed - great work!

Thing is, I'm looking for a nomograph mod that I can install with this, can anyone recommend one?

I have this mod installed with a few others, but notice I no longer have a nomograph - and I'm having difficulty adapting without it.

Cheers guys!

Hi Tikigod, I have not used this one as of yet:roll:, but seems similar and for 1.02, the other I have used it with 1.02, have not noiticed any big changes, have not played 1.02 as much as of yet though, but did notice some bugs with the pull-down maps.
Sorry for any mix-ups.

I've installed MyFavDials for GWX102 (I know btw there's a 103 version, but I haven't put on 103 yet) twice now, and I can't get the Per/Uzo TDC slidouts to work. I'm pretty sure I followed the install instructions correctly, but ....?

I activated the mod with JSGME, then made the edits to the various files.

Is there anything obvious that I've missed?

For me this is a much easier to use mod since it requires no manual changes to any ini files or the like. Plus it is GWX 1.02 ready. The TDC slideout is a different style but I much prefer it. It contains the same 6 dial simfeeling mod. However it is geared for Integrated Orders. Not sure if you use that or not.

If you install this mod corectly (It's JSGME ready) and after that do not install any mod which change menu_1024_768.ini file or some part of this mod like en_menu.txt, this mod will work corectly. Function CTRL + T enables or disable auto TDC update, and that's it. You don't need to edit ini file. Only if you use the SP2 res fix, there is a need to change the lines which I posted in first post.

@P_Funk. Tks. I don't use Integrated Orders, though, so my personal preference is for the combo dials only.

@Poor Sailor. Tks for your reply. I have a couple of small edit mods to menu_1024_768 such as getting rid of stations menu slideout and screen/stations titles, but I've integrated these into the file as modded by MyFavDials, so I'm not overwriting. Likewise for en_menu which is also changed by Longer Repair Times. Doesn't seem to me that these should be incompatible. But maybe I've mucked something up in the edits or installed incorrectly. I'll go back and check it tonight.

You already answered on your own question. Probably the mistake when you edited and changed files, that's often happened. Menu_1024_768.ini is very sensitive and small mistake may cause CTD. If anything unchanged and installed correctly the "My fav dials mod" will work as should. I just have one little glitch ... the rudder angle indicator works fine itself, but the part of the compass that you can see through the hole at the top of the indicator does not move, it's stuck on 0deg. The compass itself works fine.

This is not a big deal, but any idea what the fix would be?
