What would be really nice to see is if you can CHOOSE between which AI platform receives the link promotion from a human platform, instead of all AI platforms receiving link promotion at the same time. :yep:
Is this something that can be done??

For starters, I figure somehow(if possible) include in the menu selection, when link promotion is available, have it give the option to choose any one of the allied platforms available.
Or…
Based on the confidence level and unknown ID (unclear intentions of contact).
Have green only able to be promoted to air units, yellow to surface units, and red promoted to submerged units.
If contact is promoted as unknown then naturally AI will investigate further and attempt to ID.
If ROE is peace time, the contact will be ID’ed as friendly until otherwise.
But if ROE is wartime and if contact is ID’ed as hostile, the hostile contact will be attacked regardless who investigates it / or receives link.
Just an idea…
