How much has anyone here contributed to the above? Just curious. And is there
anything there which seems inaccurate (or is missing altogether)?

I don't have time to read it all, but what I did see goes pretty well with the book I've been reading. Also, the list of sources seems pretty good. I would guess based on that alone that he's probably pretty close to the mark.

On the accuracy of Wikipedia in General...
Wikipedia has a reputation for sometimes being innaccurate, this is true, but it's nothing to be greatly alarmed about.
In an empirical study of wikipedia, and other print and sofware Encyclopedias, Wikipedia was found to have about the same number of errors as the commercial counterparts.
Brittanica is no better than Wikipedia...
