Angry at the patch

I downloaded the entire Silent Hunter III Seawolves patch with a modem!!!!! Taking 40 hours! to do so is not my issue! MY Issue is that about half way into the install, the thing stops at Data\sea\NLTF.dat and from each file on (60) at the last count, i am prompted to ignore, retry or abort. Each time i am prompted it takes an additional 5 minutes to go on to the next file!!!:damn:

Sande, you only need to post your problem once, not everywhere. Pls see my response in the GWX thread, where you have sufficiently confused me as to whether you are talking Seawolves or GWX.

Now if you ARE talking about Seawolves, then the same deal applies. Your download is corrupt! Sorry, but you'll need to re-d/l...or ask someone here with the Seawolves patch to send it to you. To my knowledge there are no MD5 hashes published for the Seawolves patch so you can't verify your d/l that way.

As you have posted this q on the GWX thread, your first task is to be clear in what you are talking about - Seawolves patch? GWX? GWX Patch 1.02? No-one can help you until you are clear on this. ;)

@BBW: apparently simmarket (at least) offers a direct download of Seawolves.

I know if you have Seawolves you need the 2 ( 3 ? ) patches they put out straight after as it didnt work properly IIRC

I had it with GW. Found out it was a hardware-issue.
One of my ram-modules was broken. Download memtest (http://www.memtest86.com/) to find out your ram is ok.
