Is Ireland neutral throughout the war?

I encountered a small 5-ship Irish convoy in BF41 (date is late Jan 1940) whilst on patrol in U-51. All flags were lit & I sailed by on the surface within easy visual distance in bright daylight without anything untoward happening.

Posting this question as the new pull-down reference chart of flags in GWX 1.02 shows Ireland as an Allied country rather than neutral.

My patrol is using GWX + Dec 23 update. Yet to install 1.02.

No, Ireland is definately neutral. Looks like a typo in the flaggen sheet.
