In SH3 Vanilla, GW1.1 & GWX the slowest forward speed under water that I have been able to get is 3 knots with the exception of when your diving or comming up. How do I get a 2 knot or even 1 knot rig for silent running speed? I've only found 1 mod that I have actually got these speeds but it came along with allot of backage that I did not want. I've been told to go into the cfg files to change the speeds but how the u-boats are listed I can not find what the IXD2 u-boat is listed under.

In GWX the default silent running speed is 2 knots. To change that you need to alter the Cfg files, but if you do this you might mess up the detection paramaeters of hydrophones, ASDIC, DDs etc.

If you have the Dec23rd patch installed you will be given a speed of 2 kts and below when you select silent running

I put this mod in but it don't seem to work or come up on the JGME. What do I do.

Try uninstalling all mods and then enable Dec23rd mod only and try that :yep:

When you d/l it, it is in a zip format. Unzip the archive so that you are left with a folder called Dec 23rd Fix.
Make sure you are in port before a patrol. Rollback Sh3Cmdr (if using). Copy the Dec 23rd Folder into the MODS folder in your installation directory. Then open JSGME, the Dec 23rd Fix should appear on the left, click once on it and then click enable mod.
FYI, make sure that the folder you are copying into the MODS folder reds like this....
DEC 23rd Fix > data > etc etc......
NOT
DEC 23rd Fix > DEC 23rd Fix > data > etc etc.
NOTE - the fix must be the first MOD enabled via JSGME, disable all other mods first.

just go click on button below and itll give exact knots same depth itll go from 25m depth too 2-3 hundred meters if button clicked:up: :up:
