1.04 patch problems

Ok, 1.04 is giving me the following error after patching:


Error 13018 occurred with the game database.

This is after patching from 1.03 to 1.04, then uninstalling/reinstalling/patching, then trying again on a different hard drive. Any ideas how to fix it?

EDIT: For grins, I installed the 3.06 LWAMI mod, to see if the database changes would fix the apparent fugged up database my install has. No dice.

EDIT2: Mucked around with anti-virus and security settings. Still no dice.

EDIT3: DL'd patch from a couple different sources. Still no workie.

Try official forum .. google for dangerous waters .. look for SCS (Sonalyst Combat Simulation)

Stupid question... you didn't download your game from STEAM?

I'm having this same problem with Vista and the newest complete LWAMI mod. Wonder if anyone could help me out? I looked through the other forums and searched and this is the thread that pops up. The one thread that I found: http://scs.sonalystsgames.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=961&highlight=13018 I attempted to clean out the database folder, then reinstalled the mod and still nothing. When the install completes and I have the popup to enabme mods, I assume I am to move everything from the left to the right box right? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I finally figured it out. I had to delete the database, install a new patch, and do a fresh install of the mod and run it in administrator mode.
