Hi guys, I'm new to this game. Just registered to ask this question:

Am I right in assuming that having the "counterdetect: incomplete" line at the end of the mission is a good thing? I've completed every other goals without being detected but when I choose to "end mission", this goal (counterdetect) is always incomplete. The only way I can "complete" this goal is by allowing my sub to be detected which, I think, can't be a good thing. What puzzles me is the word choice of the mission goal. A goal is something I should try to complete, not avoid, correct? :hmm: Thanks in advance.

Yes, if you want to maintain your cover and don't want to be shot at, keep this as incomplete.

Now if you want to have some fun...:arrgh!:

So, yeah. It's good if you don't get detected, even though it's a goal.

P.S. Welcome to the Subsim and the Game!
