This link might prove useful - http://www.the-blueprints.com/index.php?blueprints/ships/
As far as I can see there is no scale to most of these however, I have only briefly flicked through it.

Forgive me if this has been posted before.
Enjoy.

Not for me, I can only model subs and planes im afraid. Ive not tried a complicated ship yet, better if a ship moddeling veteran has a bash at such a complex model. :D

@ Seth
3d modelling is the fun part & (don't glare at me JU_88;)) fairly easy. Basically, draw a load of rectangles and then shape them into what you need. A simple single engine aircraft will need around 7-10ish.
The hard part is UV mapping and then importing your model into your game of choice.
I can make models but I'm buggered when it comes to mapping & importing.

If only it were that easy. :-? 3D moddling is very time consuming and is not very easy to learn at all. personally i would diagree with danlisa and say mapping is much easier than the moddling once you know the tricks of the trade. Just my 3 cents.
But yes, importing stuff in to the game via pack3d and doing the hex/damage moddling is the real headf**k.:shifty:

I totally agree with you, I can make a ship model in a couple of days, but optimizing UV mapping to use only a couple of textures takes me two or more weeks :dead:

Good find. They have some nice U.S. sub drawings there too.
