NYGM Problem

Getting a migraine with a problem that I didn't have pre 2.4 update and that is locating convoys. I get the convoy report message and the convoy on the map [square box] and plot course to intercept but it disappears ?! This has just happened 4 times in one Patrol and I've never had any interception problems before on NYGM, GWX or WAC so.. feel like I've just wasted a whole afternoon and got a headache as a reward. Anyone else had this problem ?

KPT. I think random convoy routes are a feature of NYGM 2.4. This is done to simulate the real problem of finding one in the vast ocean.

When you do make contact with a convoy hold on aggressively.

I don't let go until I have to load the external reserves, which I self limit myself to having to be stopped and also having to be able to man the deck gun.

That'll explain it and it was in the AK/AL Grids where this happened. Thanks for the information :up:
