Sub and crew skin request

SH3commander has the power :rotfl: to be able to give you the right sub and crew skin depending on flotilla
ie if your in the med then your crew can have tropical uniform and med cammo for the bus

So if anyone out there wants to get busy with some stuff then Jaeson can make the necessary files for D\L

IIRC there are a couple winter skins out there already and one med one ( fubar ? )

From memory i think its VIIB\C and IXC needed
Wouldnt hurt to have the rest for those that dont use real uboat availability

Not sure about a winter crew skin though - I think there is a med one about

What say you skin gurus ?

to coin the colloquialism that is, nice idea would love to be able to do that
for crew. I have a real Like for the all black elite crew uniforms and
I am working out a way to get barracks caps on all non officers
for when I do Super Crew mod.

All in one place Would be cool! PS: As long as the skins consists only of .tga's, they can be used with GWX. No skins containing .dats will work, AFAIK.

Found some crew skins too to add variety but no arctic ones
Plus not sure if the skins are GWX ok
Not taken an interest in skins before

The only sub skins which i know are GWX ok is the ones that are tga files. That is about the limt of my knowledge mate. LOL

Have a million other things on the go at the mo so will devote more time to it when they are done

In the meantime if anyone wants to make some med sub skins would be a help
Especially one for the IID for the BS

Ok, here's the deal.

The Type 2's & the Type 21 must have packed DAT's with the new skins contained in them for the boats to adopt the skin. I don't know whether there will be any changes to GWX's DAT file for these two types before the last update in the spring:hmm: . You might be able to find that out.

The Type 7 & 9 can all be skinned by using the texture files only. (preferably 1024 x 1024 to keep performance optimal. Whether in DAT's or textures)

Skinning isnt on your dossier yet break out the whitewash in
paint shop and get cracking then.
