i play with manual targeting,for creating fire solution. i seem to always miss the target a few yards behind. i cant seem to get acurate target speed. i do open tube doors get a good 90 degree angle just cant hit the boat:damn:

Had the same at the begginnings - all the toredoes a few metres behind the ship. Do you use Wazoo's methods? I wasn't any successful untill I started to use them (read his marvellous manual).

gosh.... gulp. There is going to be a few dry runs before I have THAT lot tucked away in me brain box. Looks hard, but not impossible, with the tools, even for a mathematically challenged igno like me.
I couldn't download Ekko's .pdf though, which would have been useful to print off. Is it still available does anyone know?

Also try to shoot from close distance (500 to 1000m) and if steam torps put them on fast. This will reduce travelling time and lower the chance of a miss. Try to shoot with gyroangle as close to 0 as possible (which you get by shooting with an average 10 to 15 degrees bearing offset following speed of target and of torpedo - gyroangle is displayed under the notepad.)
