was wondering if anyone knows where this file is located, and its correct name.

I am sure I have come across this ( that type of file ) with the Mini Tweaker, the files that come with this little program used to mod parts of SH3.

gday and thx for ur reply,
ive already used timetravellers mini tweaker and found references in the particles for controling the slick....but for the life of me, i cant find the texture name or location....ive also used SH3unpacker, extracted and looked at every texture file in the .dat files ingame...no avail... im sure ive seen it also...:hmm: anybody?

First place to look is in Materials.dat, then particles.

Failing that, (this is just a thought) does it have to have a texture?:hmm: As you may know the water colour can be changed with Mini-T. Can it just be attributed to a sinking boat carrying oil etc.:hmm:.

I don't know the correct answer, just putting some thoughts out there.

The thread gives a good overview of how to do it, its to bad that it was never put into a user friendly file\mod.

I don't think there is any file other then particals.dat to work with.

I used to attach it as a special effect using zones.cfg however I must warn you, it had side effects and somtimes looked worse.

gday gouldjg, has been a while....

Its got me buggered where this texture file resides...im damn sure ive seen it too.....but as i said, ive extracted every texture in SH3`s .dat files and it aint there....mind u it was GWX that i extracted from not stock, whether that makes any difference,...texture cant be missing tho, coz it shows in game..

anyone?:cry:
