For four days of hard work. I have understood structure of files. To tell as I it has made it will be long. Job halfway. I have made model, effects, sounds. There are problems with guns. Yet has not completed Collision spheres, smoke, damage box, and GuNS.

By the way cabin from a submarine remain. But it not the high price for pleasure to operate Bismark.

It's actually the texture of Bismark, over a regular game sub, isn;t it ? At least that's what I undestand from thpse pictures.

Yes the job is done not small.

I shall say as I could it make. I have replaced:dat, zon, val, dsd from Bismark to Uboat.

THEN in HEX I corrected files *.dat *.sim *.zon. Added missing details in model (parts of the torpedo device etc.) that the game was started. All original weapon of Bismark should be removed. As I not up to the end have understood with a file *.sim. As to operate Bismark on him there should be a CABIN from a submarine (it will not be visible).

At present I have 100 %: model, Sounds, Sea Effects, Collision Spheres. The opportunity of immersing is removed and shooting by torpedos (second resulted in crash). Model of 105mm gun Also is altered. She became 1 in 1 as 15 ". But there is a problem with quantity of guns. And more it is necessary to alter HitBoxexs for a radar of aerials etc.

P.S. MOD will occupy 40-50mb and for me will be very problematic it to lay out. But if I can't lay out MOD, I shall lay out the MANUAL HOW to alter the ship in a submarine.

How cold is it now then?

I live in the south of Siberia. In city Omsk. Near to border of Kazakhstan. Average temperature in the summer 22-32*С

In the winter -17*С - 32*С. Per cold days it happens and up to -40*С. The last year reached up to -46*С. To start the car a problem.

This year weather has left from mind. All winter there is a warm weather from +1 up to -14*С. Only week was -20*С. The truth of snow has dropped out! Very much. There are snowdrifts till 3 meters in height. It was impossible to drive to some days. Per day 0,3 meters of snow dropped out.

Now behind a window +2*С. :sunny: Also it is visible a huge fuse on a road.
And in general in Russia most bad is roads (well not everywhere certainly). They narrow and is constant fuses. As they were not constructed on such quantity of transport as now at us. :down:

Verdammt ! :o:o:o I would (and some other people) call that cold, but it's all a matter of perspective. The human body adapts to situations I guess. In that temp, I wouldn't even be able to hold my mouse still after 3 minutes.

Now behind my window + 15°C (brrrr, freezin) for me anyways. Turnin up the heat to 25°C aaah breeezin !

Gradually my project goes to alpha version. Soon I shall let out it. Who knows good FTP where it is possible it to place.

One not so pleases. Most likely (99 %) to make many guns is unreal. BUT I have found an exit. My one gun shoots as all onboard shot. I have calculated quantity of shells and reloading time and damage per shot. It has turned out rather not bad.

Further I plan to add ALL guns as simple models, for appearance.

After testing, I found some bugs:
1. Not able to man the gun and flak, so it is also not possible to reload
2. When turning hard(40 port or starboard), the speed drops very much
3. Guns auto fires
4. No HE round?
5. No collision model, and no one will shoot you....
6. No gun stabilizer, when waves are up and down, you can't aim
Anyway, You are still a great modder and I love your mod!:rock::rock::rock:

I make my MOD of Russian official Version (based on German version) maybe there mistake.

I don't now how can it be. I have official SH3 version 1.43.

If you can send me these ORIGINAL(from you version SH3) files:

Zones.cfg

You don't forget replace ALL files in right places?

P.S. But i have SH3 pirat (in Russia it is normal) version 1.0 (English) I truy make this mod based on files from 1.0

When mission starts, I could see the new VIIB. It is now Bismarck with two front 15" Twin Gun.
After about 45 seconds, enemy DD was spotted. 20 more seconds, the front most gun fired automatically.
I jumped to Deck gun station (Pressing F10), and i could see a clip of 20 AP ammo with total ammo number 120. I fired and sunk 2 DDs!:rock:(The feeling of sinking escort DD is so good:up::arrgh!::|\\)
When a total number of 20 AP rounds were fired, I didn't see my gun reloading. I jumped to Crew management (Pressing F7). When I tried to drag a seaman to the Deck gun station, error message poped "Location not accessible".
So I decided to sink the enemy BB by collision. Ahead Flank.
But then when I was hitting the enemy BB, my ship (Bismarck) just passed through the enemy BB.
I ended the mission by myself as I can't sink any more.

Through out the mission, no enemy attacked me. I fired 20 rounds of AP and sunk 2 DDs. And i was not able to reload the guns. Both of my guns silenced after firing a total of 40 rounds of AP, and very hard to aim as waves are up and down. Unlike the 88mm or 105mm gun in the game, the guns have no stabilizing.

U did the same thing I did but I customize the ammo to 2000rds tho.

I know what the hell was happening and why i had the bug.
When i tried naval academy, everything is well. I can call my crew to man the guns and reload. I can hit the enemy ship by collision.

Whenever the mission starts at periscopic depth, BUGS happen.
Whenever the mission starts at surface, everything is happy and no bugs.

Maybe I should make a map "Battle of Denmark Strait"
Bismarck + Prinz Eugen(Use Hipper instead in game) vs HMS. Hood (Use revenge) + HMS Prince of Wales

The historical fight and U command the Bismarck:hmm:

In history, Bismarck sunk HMS Hood when Bismarck's AP round hit HMS Hood's Ammo bunker. Soon, HMS Hood blown up to fire, only 3 survivors. And this is the only one kill that scored by the Bismarck.

Replase the start location in Campaign. By mission editor and you never take damage by dock.

2- And how you think will turn the ship by displacement of 20000 tons(360* on 32 knots for 10 sec)? And more loss of speed and long turn it "BUGs" Ubisoft'a.

Sorry AFT. Here comes the real bug.
I discovered that the middle propeller of the Hipper won't turn. The other two propellers are ok and working.

And some suggestion. May be we can add some secondary gun like 5" on Bismarck on the flak position. As flak consisted of more than one position, may be it is possible to add a gun on the second flak position.

It is a NOT BUG. It is a specific SH3 Engine. Sub have ONLY 2 propllers and i can't make three.

At the moment i have two serious "bugs"

1. Bismarck - don't work saved games (Hipper - all ok, i think about this problem)

2. Hipper does not want to be floating after last checkpoint. First need activate emergensy backm thes al OK. (Maybe it is some engine BUG i don't now)

AFT, i have the second problem too. Unknown bug, I have never seen that on submarine before.
However, sometimes I can save my career when playing Bismarck.

By the way, I have modified the departure point of Brest, so Hipper or Bismarck can go out without damage.

For four days of hard work. I have understood structure of files. To tell as I it has made it will be long. Job halfway. I have made model, effects, sounds. There are problems with guns. Yet has not completed Collision spheres, smoke, damage box, and GuNS.

By the way cabin from a submarine remain. But it not the high price for pleasure to operate Bismark.

Looks like that AFT guy doesn't hang around here anymore (last post 2 1/2 months ago). Would have been cool to run around blasting things with the Bismarck, but since the RN AI would have been unable to vector fleet assets (i.e. just about everything floating) to your position it probably would have gotten boring after awhile. Too bad it's been abandoned.

LOL this mod had "overambitious" and "impossible" written all over it .. if people did a quick calculation over much time will be needed to complete these kinds of mistakes could be avoided ..

JFYI: Sukhoi site was taken down. Guys are installing new server and are moving to a new ISP. Hopefully it will be up next week or so.
