I think the title needs to be changed to something like "ref, or any of the GWX ship devs" because I was never in the GWX team and do not know all the details about f.e. the GWX damage model philosophy.

In principle any AI ship is compatible with GWX as long as entries in ship's EQP and SNS text files are in agreement with stock or GWX names. The damage model may differ but it will only lead to more variation/variety which is in a way good.

The main guy to talk to is Von Helsching, as he's the one responsible for the damage modelling.

As Serg posted any ship will fit in - warships may need a guns tweak to fit the GWX Dat but any merchant will just go staright in

Damage moddeling is Vons area of considerable expertise
