Hi,

use a program that can handle gain on ogg/wave/mp3 files like "mp3gain" and a tool to convert youre files in diffrent association, like wave, ogg and so. Best way search on google for that. Speech should always only mono and ogg, the wave files can still be stereo but dont make big files, smaller files are easier to handle for the game.

Im currently work on to make the speech files sounds a little bit like you are really in a metal tube i use the Nero Wave Editor and the tools that come with my X-Fi Soundcard.

Greetings

Sound Recorder under Accessories\Entertainment on your desktop. Go into this program, then to your SH3 sound file, you can either increase or decrease the volume there, save when done.

Yes. I used it when I converted the DBSM sound files for SHIII. It's a great program.

You can also adjust volume settings in the main cfg file (volume general, music, FX, speech) in:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\GWX\data\cfg

Get ready for a lot of trouble.. I tried another diesel engine sound, it worked great, but it had a little sound pause at the end, and I couldnt get rid of it, even without cutting the last second, something in SH3 didnt like it. Damn.. it was a very cool engine sound.
