Transparant sea

i was playing sh3 the other day and was just admiring the sea graphics (as you do on such a beautiful game) abd i did notice that the sea is totaly solid colour on the top. has anyone tried to make this top colour more see thru? is there a picture file for the texture that we could change the alpha channel on?

I really dont think it is possible.This has been brought up and looked into a few times but without any real succes.I think it is a hard-coded part we will simply have to live with.

alright cool ill still look into the files and experiment. the sea as it is is beautiful but a bit too solid looking.
