Relative newb around here. I just reinstalled SH3 because of GWX and I'm loving every bit of it so far.
Only thing I've noticed, at least on my machine, is the dusk/night skies have blocks displaying, particularly when they transition from light to dark. It's appears that the gradient of the sky textures isn't providing a gradual enough color transition. This doesn't happen during the daytime, with or without clouds.
I've already searched the forums and found some folks with similar problems but none of the ideas listed in those posts seems to clear up the blocks. I've tried enabling vsync and disabling AA/AS (setting both to application controlled).
I am not using the optional 16km mod. I did enable this to see if it would clear the problem but I got the same result. Big blocks in the sky.
Is anyone else experiencing this? It's not a gameplay killer but definately hurts the immerision factor when everything else looks so real.
Hardware specs:
Core 2 Duo E6600
Geforce 7900GT 256MB w/ latest drivers (Nov. 2 release)
2GB RAM
Not overclocking either the CPU or GPU
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
