This is some great news - I must have missed the new version in all the holiday madness. But maybe it would be more appropriate in the Indie Subsims section than in this one.:yep:

Hey I thought this got canned, while graphically Its a bit primative compared to SH3, I wonder what the game play will be like.

Having said something rude about their graphics I would also like t offer something positive, they have captured light on the UBoat hull very well, it actually looks wet! and some of the screenies of the merchants look very good, I like the one featureing the sea hurricane mounted on a merchant, now to my knowledge that hasnt been modeled in SH3.

I will download the game and give it a go, thanks for the alert

They did a good job on the water, I think.

I think visually its not primitive but I find that the sun reflection is so widely contrasted it produces an artificial appearing look into an otherwise natural feeling environment, like their trying too hard for beauty.

I really like being able to see the control room in the periscope view though.

Wow! I didn't even know this existed, thanks for the headsup m8. Looks very promising, I like the way it looks for sure.

Note to self: come up more and look around ... ;)

I'm a fan, and have been for awhile. You definitely should try it if you haven't already. :)
