How do I get the grid to extend to the pacific?

Short answer - you dont

Long explanation - the grids are hardcoded somewhere which is why there are no grids in the Black Sea and Indian Ocean in GWX

OT, but I saw you posted two threads about this. In the other it reads : "Edited, check the other thread.". Now, how fun would it to edit this thread too, to read the same?? Would keep some of the members busy for some time. :rotfl:

Ahh, this is where SHIV will come in handy.

It is HARD CODED into SH3.EXE and DLL:nope:

Not if you are playing SH3 though

Did they ever really HAVE grids for those areas?
It could MAYBE be modded as Eye Candy.
Not sure about using it in game in a dynamic way.
I ain't dug into this area, YET!!:lol:

The kreigsmarine had grids for the Black Sea
Not sure about the Indian Ocean
Doubt they had Pacific but you never know

Yes at least some in the Indian Ocean
Just found a reference to KR 5276

25 April 1943:
Indian Ocean, about 450 miles SE of Madagascar (Kriegsmarine grid KR 5276). The I-29 arrives at the planned rendezvous area one day earlier than expected

Well all my test are being run about 400-500 miles North East of Madagasgar
date 1940 so it's still secret!!:rotfl:
