How does one mod the loadout choices in mission editor?

When you run mission editor and select aircraft/ship type, one of the choices for some of them are ordnance loadouts. I've tried to figure out (and failed, so far) what file(s) those loadout choices reside in.

Also, one of the common choices for loadout is 'basic'. Just what constitutes the basic loadout?

Help?

I'm just learning but I've been checking this to.
The cfg file in each unit lists load out.
But the editor doesn't really let you get detailed.
Also, some units that list loadouts in thier cfg files
can't bee changed in any way in Mission Editer.
Such as Air Bases.
I need to load C++ back up.:nope:

Kewl. That looks like what I was looking for. Thanks mate! I'll go and give it a whirl and see if that works. Thanks again!

I think that if you edit the load out in the cfg files
it will affect all existing units of said type at game load up!
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
If this is true, is there a way to change the load out for, say,
just a chosen Air Base?
And not affect ALL Air Bases of same type?

Basically no
There are a few different types of airbase but changing the large airbase FI changes all the large airbase for that nation

And same would apply to ANY unit you alter the cfg for correct?

Basically yes although for ships\aircraft you can specify loadouts in the mission ed
That cant be done for airbases though

If we clone a unit and introduce it into the game then we can
change out THAT units load and only affect that unit,
Correct?
