Renown In Gwx

GWX, thank you for your great job

I've sunk 13 ships in GWX with my type IXD2 in Indonesia so far... and got a 2200 renown (I think that is acceptable)

What I've got was several cargos & tankers, + 1 Passenger linear, 2 landing ship, several DD and 1 Pyro Ammo ship

I wanta to ask what are the renown of sinking different ships in GWX (since there are many new ships)

Also, I've tested the desk gun. Really, as what the manual said, the desk gun damage is reduced by half. I used all 110 HE rounds to sink 1 passenger linear and 1 medium merchant, (which usually take appox. 60 to me before GWX) at a distance of 3000m (to reduce their chance to hit me when they fight back)

Don't blame me if you think I'm showing off. I just want to tell you what GWX is about and its improvements on the game. For newbies, don't TRY to use that desk gun against big ships in later war period. That = scucide

Back to the main questions: what are the renown of sinking different ships in GWX

I sure miss that menu under F1 which showed the various data on ships like what you've mentioned.

Unfortunately tjhere are now too many ships for that F1 menu
They purely dont fit any more
The recog manual page IIRC has the renown for the ship on it
Liners are just a bit too much to be using a deck gun on methinks :rotfl:

Thanks, but I don't know which recognisation menu you're talking about

Is is the recognisation menu (where I can find weight, AOB, mast, draft, length...)

However, I don't think I saw the renown value on that one

In the past, I used to consult the online wikipedia and used the Complete Recognisation menu, but I don't think they are compatitible with GWX. Also due to the increased type of ships, I cannot figure out the renown value of some of them

The recog manual on F3 / periscope screen does not appear to show it.

:hmm: I thought the renown for the ships were on the recognition manaul pages
Bit hard to see IIRC its on the top line somewhere

When I get a chance to fire up the game will have a look

Renown makes no odds to me
The bigger the ship the more renown
If it crosses my scope its a target
