Minitweaker question

Hello everybody

i know its cheating but i wanted to make my IX a bit faster (not to fast because it cant maintain its dept properly) I used the mini tweaker to find an acceptble speed to maintain dept and changed the ratio 's for the speed setting to only have the max speed in all ahead flank works a treat but:

accelerating and slowing down has become really slow takes ages to go to full stop even when putting engines in full reverse

any body any tips on what controls this matter?

I would comment on realism but you already said "I know it's cheating", so that makes it cool (seriously). Actually, even the "supercharger upgrades" are cheating, because the real boats already had superchargers and the basic speed is as fast a s they really went.

I don't know how to fix the acceleration problem, but I'm intrigued, simply because the u-boats in the game all accelerate way to fast anyway, and I've been looking for a way to slow them all down. Same goes for merchants, and probably battleships and aircraft carriers.
