It would be a nice piece of "eye candy" if we could raise the German flag from the tower when entering and leaving harbour, if anyone out there has the means and the know-how this would really look good in my humble opinion.:up:

If I remember correctly it has been discussed before. I think the problems are two: 1. If you raise the flag or the victory pennants you cannot lower them once you're submerged, meaning that you have to go around with the flag raised all the time.
2. Some people say that the flag and the pennants will be visible if you're at periscope depth but I think there is a way around that issue.

I think so but I don't know if he did try it. I haven't read anything so far

what would be cool is a battle flag where you could add flags of downed ships painted on the side of the tower every time you go out on a mission you come back add a couple more flags :hmm:

Actually i can imagine Gibs going pirating..he's has the jolly roger on his XXI (gods honest truth ) it's funny as hell. I can imagine him pulling up against a convoy shouting " Avast me hearties " "Yarr raise the main sail" :arrgh!:
