Just installed it to a clean SH3 and started a campaign with the first flotilla in 1939 and everytime I try to use the attack periscope it hangs and crashes the computer. any advice?


My specs

AMD 64 3500+
Windows XP Pro
ATI X1300 pro
1 gig RAM

Did you apply the 1.4b patch before installing GW ?

I used game shadow so I think I did.

File version 1.4.0.1 from the .exe summary

You also need to make sure you got the correct patch depending on whether you purchased the game online or whether you have the DVD version, as well as getting the patch for U.S. or not.

Also make sure you have deleted or rename the SH3 folder in C\My Documents.
