View Full Version : SH3Cmdr problem
Well i have my own storm conditions:
StormConditions=10,0.1;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1]
but SH3Cmdr always setup storm conditions to:
StormConditions=7,0.1;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1]
What should I do to play with SH3Cmdr and my own storm conditions (10,0.1)? Any ideas?

I donīt think Sh3Commander alters that line. Did you rollback the Commander before you changed the setting? If not you will get your old setting back when the Commander rolls back prior to copying new files each time you launch it.
One way to go is to alter the setting in your original file and the one in Sh3Commanderīs BACKUP folder.

ook,
When you load viaSH3CMDR do you run SH3Weaher generator? This will alter the files. Also, if you select seasonal waves in the options of SH3CMDR, files will be altered.
Of course, I assume you did roll back SH3CMDR before you messed with the files. If you didn't CMDR will replace them with the backup.

Exactly.
Solution? ROLLBACK SH3Cmdr THEN
a) make the file change OR
b) add the setting to SH3Cmdr's Static settings.cfg file which will ensure that *your* setting is used *regardless* of what mods you may subsequently install.
One way to go is to alter the setting in your original file and the one in Sh3Commanderīs BACKUP folder.
If players always remember to rollback SH3Cmdr FIRST, then they won't need to worry about changing files in SH3Cmdr's !BACKUP folder. ;)
Rollback works! Thx guys for helping me.
